Morning soundcheck at Perth Concert Hall.
Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before your allotted time to find the venue, tune up, and be ready to go on stage during the changeover period. We will not be waiting for latecomers, for both rehearsals and concerts.
- Access to Perth Concert Hall Stage Door is through the backstage PCH carpark. The only way to access this during the day is down the driveway off St Georges Terrace, between Perth Concert Hall and the Duxton Hotel, and through the white gates leading to the backstage carpark. The box office will not be open in the morning so there is no access through the front foyers of the building. (Follow the pink lines on the attached picture)
- You only need to attend the rehearsal for the period that your ensemble is playing on stage.
- Cellos, Double Basses, Harp, Contrabassoon, and Tuba instruments can be left backstage between rehearsal and concert. The venue will be locked but leaving the instruments is at your own risk.
- Double basses please bring your own stool.
- Parking is available on the street, or in the City of Perth Car Parks, entry via Terrace Road. (Marked in yellow on the attached picture)
- There is a drop off zone on Terrace Road or on the Perth Concert Hall Forecourt on St Georges Terrace.
