The first (of 3) workshops with WASO tutors are next week. Please check below for the details of your instrument. All WAYO members are involved in this sectional. You will be working on Prokofiev Symphony No.5.

STRINGS:

• Date: Thursday 2^nd March
• Time: 5:15pm – 8pm – ALL WAYO STRINGS ATTEND
• Venue: UWA School of Music – Various Rooms – all are next to Callaway Auditorium.
  • Violin 1 – Eileen Joyce Studio with Lucas O’Brien
  • Violin 2 – G18 with Jane Serrangeli
  • Viola – G7 with Ben Caddy
  • Cello – Callaway Auditorium with Nick Metcalfe
  • Double Bass – Tunley Auditorium with Christine Reitzenstein
• You will be having sectionals with your WASO tutor for the entire session.

WOODWIND:

• Date: Wednesday 1^st March
• Time: 4:45pm – 7:30pm – ALL WAYO WINDS ATTEND
• Venue: UWA School of Music – Various Rooms – all are next to Callaway Auditorium.
  • Flute – G9 with Mary-Anne Blades
  • Oboe – G8 with Liz Chee
  • Clarinet – Callaway Auditorium with Allan Meyer
  • Bassoon – G7 with Adam Mikulicz
• Sectionals till 6pm; Tutti Woodwinds in Callaway 6:15 – 7:30pm

BRASS:

• Date: Wednesday 1^st March
• Time: 6pm – 8:40pm – ALL WAYO BRASS ATTEND
• Venue: UWA School of Music – Various Rooms – all are next to Callaway Auditorium.
  • Horn – G9 with Rob Gladstones
  • Trumpet – G8 with Sophie Kukulies
  • Trombone and Tuba – G7 with Joshua Davis
• Sectionals till 7:10pm; Tutti Brass in Eileen Joyce Studio 7:25 – 8:40pm

PERCUSSION:

• Date: Tuesday 28^th February

• Venue: UWA Percussion Studio with Brian Maloney
  • Please all arrive at 5pm as setup will take quite some time. Meet outside UWA percussion studio
  • Once set you will rehearse Prokofiev and Bernstein approx. 5:30pm – 6:15pm
  • Short break 15mins (Dom you can finish at this time, but you’re welcome to stay and listen if you like)
  • Side-by-side repertoire sectional – approx. 6:30pm – 8pm (Zac, Ben, Nathan, Chelsea)
