Hi WAYO,

1 week to go! First rehearsal Saturday 11th February!!! We will start with the Prokofiev. A read through of the Bernstein will happen at the end. John Keene will be your conductor for this rehearsal as Jon Tooby is away.

There are new Prokofiev parts in the online folder. This is the new edition we will be working from. Please only use these parts to avoid rehearsal number confusions, as this is the edition that the conductors will be using. The parts are actually readable so yay!

I apologise for already having changes to the sectional times, but these are coming from WASO and subject to their availability.

Please check your online schedule. This has been updated to have the correct times.

Sectional 1: You will be rehearsing Prokofiev Symphony No.5 with WASO musicians taking the tutorial.

All Percussion – Stay on Tuesday 28 Feb at UWA Percussion Studio.

All Wind & Brass – Stay on Wednesday 29 Feb at UWA Music.

Sectional 2:

Strings – Tuesday 20 June 5:15pm – 8pm – at Perth Concert Hall

WBP – Tuesday 20 June – check times in schedule – at UWA Music

Sectional 3:

Strings – WEDNESDAY 23 August 6:15pm – 9pm – at Perth Concert Hall

WBP – TUESDAY 22 August – check times in schedule – at UWA Music.
