Babies Proms 20/21 April

Babies Proms concerts are this weekend, and they are all sold out! So bring your smiles and youthful energy to all the performances and have fun.

The venue is Perth College – Judith Cottier Theatre – 31 Lawley Cresent Mt Lawley.

Please make sure you arrive on time and don’t get caught out with the parking situation. There is very limited street parking around Perth College. The oval will be open for additional parking, weather permitting.

WAYO Schedule April

Hope you had a nice break. This Saturday 13 April rehearsal is for Babies Proms at UWA Callaway Auditorium. If you are not performing in Babies Proms on April 20 or 21 then you are not required at this rehearsal. Elise Chong will be conducting, and Peter Moore is the MC.

Sinfonietta Practice this week

Things to practice this week are:

  • Black Diamond bars 53 – 69 counting out loud and playing.
  • Celli also slow practice on bar 24 for intonation.

This Saturday, members from the WA Symphony Orchestra will be joining you in rehearsal. Please make sure you arrive by 8:50am so you can unpack, tune up, and be ready to go by 9am. The WASO musicians will be with you from 9am – 10:20am this week, so you won’t want to waste your time [ read more ]

Philharmonic at Hale School 16 March

This Saturday 16 March, you will be rehearsing at Hale School in the John Inverarity Music & Drama Centre.

Same rehearsal time: 9am – 12pm

Only Philharmonic will be rehearsing at Hale School this day. All other junior ensembles (Camerata, Flute Choir, Collegium, Sinfonietta) will still be rehearsing at WAAPA.
