The Flute Choir gives young flautists the opportunity to develop their ensemble skills and individual technique.

Lead by WAYO alumnus Christie Sullivan (principal flute of the WA Youth Orchestra for five years) the Flute Choir is the ideal learning place for those wanting to explore exciting specialty repertoire with a group of like-minded individuals. From arrangements of classic works to jazz and original compositions, Flute Choir is a group dedicated to ensemble skill, camaraderie, and harnessing the diverse qualities this instrument has to offer. The ensemble performs twice annually, the final concert of the year being held in Perth Concert Hall. Members have access to a full range of piccolos, alto flutes and bass flutes owned by WA Youth Orchestras.
