Oliver recently travelled to Melbourne, having been invited to the second and final round live auditions for the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM). He has since been offered a scholarship position in the 2020 ANAM Professional Performance Program in Melbourne, where he will study with David Thomas – Head of Winds ANAM (Principal Clarinet – Melbourne Symphony Orchestra). A World Premiere for WAYO
Announcing the Inaugural Carol Day commissioned work by Melody Eötvös Originally from the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Melody recently relocated to Melbourne via the USA, where she completed her Doctor of Music, to take up a full time post at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Although one would be forgiven for assuming Joshua was once a student at the UWA Conservatorium of Music (especially given his semi-permanent presence there), he has just graduated from UWA’s Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) program with majors in Political Science and International Relations and Business Law. Joshua loves all things old and all things foreign and was lucky enough to spend a semester in Lyon, France improving his French and soaking up every art gallery and museum he possible could.
