The WAYO Ensembles concert Rise is coming up on Saturday 21^st October at The Perth Concert Hall.

Below are some important details regarding the sound check and performance on Saturday 21^st October at The Perth Concert Hall.

A reminder that there are no rehearsals for the next 2 weekends, Saturday 23 and 30 September, due to school holidays. We will be back to regular rehearsals on Saturday 7 October.

3 June Soundscape Ensembles Concert Information

The semester 1 Ensembles Concert Soundscape is on THIS SATURDAY 3 June.

We will be at Newman College Marist Auditorium this Saturday for both the morning sound check and evening concerts. There is a large carpark at the venue, and you will enter through the main foyer doors. We will have signage and staff to help direct you to the warmup rooms and stage.

Rehearsal 1 April and Rehearsal Etiquette

This Saturday is the last rehearsal before the Term 1 holiday break. There will be no rehearsals on 8, 15, & 22 April due to Easter, school holidays, and Anzac Day long weekend.

You’re sounding great so far in rehearsals so keep up the practice over the holidays!

Please be reminded of some rehearsal etiquette.

Please don’t chat when the conductor is speaking. It is very rude, and you should be listening to the conductor to hear what notes they have. Even [ read more ]

A great start to 2023

What a great start it has been to our 2023 year. I hope everyone is enjoying learning their music, and we can’t wait to see you perform it at your concert in June.

As a note, you may bring your own snacks for break time if desired. This might help with keeping focus and making it through the full morning’s rehearsal. There are water fountains available to refill your own water bottle as well.
