YOUR DETAILS

The Western Australian Youth Orchestras Association is committed to upholding the National Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988. Members’ personal information is collected and maintained by us for the purposes of processing your application and enabling us to run our programs effectively – thereby delivering maximum benefit to our participants. We will not pass on personal information to a third party without your consent.

Members’ and patrons’ information is stored on our system and is only accessible by approved WA Youth Orchestras staff. You are able to unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time simply by contacting us. We will not use your address for any purpose other than the running of our programs, and will not sell or disclose it without your consent.

When participating in WA Youth Orchestras ensembles, you may be photographed under the direction and supervision of WAYO staff. Photographs may be used for promotional publications, media releases or on our website. If you do NOT want your photograph to appear in newspapers or other promotional material, please advise us in writing.

You are entitled to ask us for access to your personal information records at any time, or to choose to cancel or opt-out of any service or future mailing. If you wish to correct any personal information, please contact the WAYO office on 9328 9859, or by email.
